Let's talk about how IN-CRED-IBLE these cookies are! The salty sweet combo is WICKED! They are chewy because of the brown sugar, crispy because of the bacon, and crunchy because of the light sugar coating!

My mouth waters as I type this...I really wish I saved a secret stash of

them. If you are a bacon lover, this recipe will not disappoint. I'm

pretty sure Elvis would have been tickled for a tray full of these!

* 3 Tbsp canola, peanut or grapeseed oil (high smoke point oil)

* 1/3 cup of high quality popcorn kernels

* 1 3-quart covered saucepan

* 2 Tbsp or more (to taste) of butter

* Salt to taste


1 Heat the oil in a 3-quart saucepan on medium high heat.

A custard base recipe - ideal for making a rich and creamy

vanilla ice cream


4 egg yolks

1 cup (250ml) whole milk

1 cup (250ml) double/heavy cream

4 oz (100g) sugar or caster sugar

1 tbsp #1003 Amoretti Vanilla Tahitian with Specs to taste be as

generous as you like

1 tsp #1212 Amoretti Cake Batter Extract

1 tsp #651 Crema di Vanilla Extract

Thanks for the offer of samples, but right now, I develop recipes strictly for the home cook. Unless your products are widely available in everyday retail locations, it's unlikely that I would develop recipes with them. They sound terrific, however!
